Watch: Tucson Landfill Fire Pours Smoke Into City
BREAKING: Smoke from the blaze blanketed the city on New Years' Eve, officials said.

TUCSON, AZ — A massive fire broke out overnight at a green waste landfill just north of Rita Ranch in Tucson and fire officials say smoke is making it's way through the city.
Firefighters responded to the landfill fire near East Drexel Road and South Houghton Road around 3 a.m. on New Years' Eve.
No buildings were threatened and no injuries were reported.

In videos posted on Facebook and Twitter, firefighters pour a stream of water onto the blaze from all sounds, including overhead.
