Elizabeth Montgomery's Former Home for Sale

With a twitch of the nose, the 'Bewitched' star's former Agoura Hills home can be yours.

The former Agoura Hills home of the late  Elizabeth Montgomery, best known for her role as the beloved nose-twitching witch Samantha on the hit show Bewitched, is for sale, according to Zillow. Located at 29235 Lakeshore Dr., this 2,400-square foot home is being listed by its present owner, actor Craig Sheffer.

The estate has been on and off the market since May 2010, said Zillow. Originally listed for $1,999,900 the home is now back on the market with a $700,900 price cut, said the web site.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, which fronts the picturesque, rocky Santa Monica mountains and Malibou Lake, features a spacious great room, an intimate dining room with lots of antique built-ins and a private master suite with a meditation balcony. In addition to a spa grotto and waterfall, the 0.57-acre lot offers a partially covered entertainer's bar with an adjacent Moroccan-style conversational area that includes a fireplace and two covered cabanas.

Montgomery’s role on the hit television situation comedy about a good witch who marries a mortal, earned her five Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations. The show ran for nine seasons on ABC between 1964 and 1973. She also starred in the made-for-television movies A Case of Rape and as Lizzie Borden in The Legend of Lizzie Borden. Montgomery died of cancer in 1995.

Current owner Sheffer was first recognized for his role on the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live. One of Sheffer’s most notable roles was as Brad Pitt’s older brother in Robert Redford’s film A River Runs Through It.

Montgomery’s former home is listed by Sharon Berman of Dilbeck Real Estate. For more information, click here.
