Body Pulled from Marina Identified as Missing Alameda Man
Robert Corey Rea, 36, had been missing since February 15.
Officials with the Alameda County Coroner's Office confirm that a body pulled from the water in the Alameda Marina last Friday has been identified as 36-year-old Robert Corey Rea.
An autopsy has been performed on Rea, who was found on March 7, and officials are waiting for the toxicology report before releasing a cause of death, according to a coroner's office official.
Rea was been reported missing by his friends on Feb. 19 after he failed to return calls and texts. He was last seen on Feb. 15.

Rea's car was found parked at the Grand Marina parking lot several days after Rea had been reported missing.
Griffiths described Rea as "happy-go-lucky" and expressed shock and sadness at the news of his friend's death.
Alameda Police have not yet been reached to comment on the case.
