Pass up that over-priced latte and help local artists with Kickstarter campaign!!

Pass up that over-priced latte and help local artists with Kickstarter campaign!!

We're trying to finance a documentary - and we need your help!

Native Alameda island girls, the Neon Rozes, are calling on all local patrons of the arts, kind souls and generally funky folks to support them with a documentary project forty years in the making.

Long-time friends dubbed the best band never, the Rozes are hoping to rally resources in order to hire a film crew, edit and promote their swan song – We Are Neon Rozes.  This documentary will immortalize the “band” on what will most likely be their final gig – a trip to Las Vegas to see their beloved “Queen” (not Elizabeth, the 70s rock legends!)  Hilarity is sure to ensue!

It’s crunch time for the project as the Queen concert is on July 5.  Here’s where you come in.  The NRs have created a Kickstarter campaign to help finance the professional filming, post-production and promotion of the film.  Please note: funds WILL NOT be used to finance any travel or concert expenses or to post any possible bail.

This is sure to be the best caper ever for the best band never. Please show your support for local artists!  Any amount you can pledge will be greatly appreciated and go a long way to making this project a smashing success.

We Are Neon Rozes – because you don’t have to be a rock star to play like one.
