Two Car Fire in Aliso Viejo Stalls Morning Traffic

A collision between two cars in Aliso Viejo on Wednesday morning drew attention when both cars burst into flames. OCFA responded.

ALISO VIEJO, CA — This morning, two cars burned out on Alicia Parkway at Aliso Hills Drive.

Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene. According to Orange County Fire Authority Captain Larry Kurtz, both cars were fully involved by the time OCFA arrived on scene.

"There was a two car collision, and both cars caught fire," Larry Kurtz said. OCFA emergency teams responded to the scene and extinguished the double blaze on Alicia Parkway at Aliso Hills Drive.

"Only one minor injury was reported," Kurtz said. "The patient was transported to an area hospital for observation."
