Arcadia High Marching Band Prepares for Rose Parade

The Arcadia High School Marching Band is making final preparations for the Tournament of Roses Rose parade in Pasadena.

ARCADIA, CA — The Arcadia High School Marching Band is preparing for their march in the 2017 Tournament of Roses Rose Parade for the 16th time, according to the Arcadia Unified school district.

"The Arcadia High School Band is one of the largest and most accomplished high school band’s in the country," Band Directors Kevin Sherrill said.

The band, which consists of 375 members, will be marching in the Rose Parade for the 16th time in the past 50 years.

The Arcadia High Band has also marched in two Presidential Inaugural Parades (1957 Dwight Eisenhower, 2005 George W. Bush).

The band also performed at the very first Super Bowl in 1967, in the 1981 World Series, Gator Bowl, Alamo Bowl, was featured in an NFL Super Bowl commercial last year, and has won countless field show competitions.
