1 Dead In Beaumont House Fire

BEAUMONT, CA — One person was pronounced dead at the scene of a Beaumont house fire Wednesday morning, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The blaze was reported at 8:12 a.m. in the 1200 block of Beaumont Avenue.

During the firefight, crews discovered the victim. Despite life-saving efforts, the person died at the scene.

No other injuries were reported, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Tawny Cabral.

The victim's identity was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The blaze was contained within 20 minutes, but crews remained at the site to mop up.
