3 Motor Homes, Garage Damaged in Banning Fire
The blaze was knocked down by 41 firefighters Saturday afternoon.

BANNING, CA – Three motor homes and a garage were damaged Saturday in a non-injury vegetation fire.
The fire was reported at 2:25 p.m. near the intersection of East Lincoln Street and South Florida Street, according to April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.
The main fire burned 2.5 acres in a field and backyards of residences, while a nearby spot fire burned an additional half acre, she said.

The exterior of a detached garage and three mobile homes were damaged by the flames, according to Newman.
It took 41 firefighters a little more than an hour to extinguish the fire.
