Four Displaced After Vehicle Fire Spreads to Beaumont Home

Water damage was also reported after the fire.

Four people were displaced Friday when a car fire damaged their home in Beaumont.

Firefighters sent at 2:16 a.m. to the 36000 block of Bay Hill Drive found the vehicle ablaze in the garage, county fire spokeswoman April Newman said.

The fire was contained by about 3 a.m., she said, adding that water damage was also reported.

Two adults and two children were displaced by the blaze, which resulted in about $70,000 in losses, but no one was injured, Newman said.
