Semi-Truck Crashes Into Center Divider Near Oak Valley Parkway

One person has been hospitalized in critical condition following a crash on Interstate 10 in Beaumont, fire officials report.

The crash was reported at 11:21 on the westbound side of the freeway, just west of Oak Valley Parkway, according to CHP and fire reports.

“One semi truck collided with the center divider,” Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman Jennifer Fuhrman reported. “One patient was transported in critical condition to a local area hospital via ground ambulance.”

As of 12:15 p.m., CHP and emergency personnel remained on scene. The fast lane was blocked while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
