Woman, Dog Found Dead Inside Vehicle at RivCo Parking Lot
An autopsy will be conducted to pinpoint the cause of the woman's death and whether triple-digit heat may have been a factor.

Coachella, CA — Foul play is not suspected in the deaths of a Los Angeles woman and a dog found inside a vehicle in a parking lot at a Coachella travel stop, sheriff's officials said today.
Jennifer Shapiro-Renaud, 36, was found dead around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot at Love's Travel Stop at 45761 Dillon Road, just north of Interstate 10.
Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a woman inside a vehicle and made the discovery, said sheriff's Deputy Armando Munoz. He said the death was not being investigated as a homicide.
