Woman Uses Sex Toys to Fend Off Armed Would-Be Robber at Adult Store (VIDEO)

Watch as the woman chases off the man who tried to rob the Inland Empire sex shop.

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – A would-be robber got more than he bargained for when he decided to hold up the clerks at an adult 'romantic fun' shop this week. Rather than walking out with cash, he was chased out by a woman throwing sex toys at him.

The man barged into the store at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday, as the employees were getting ready to close, according to Janel Hargreaves, the owner of Lotions & Lace on Inland Center Drive in San Bernardino.

Armed with a handgun and a hood pulled over his head, the man can be seen on surveillance footage approaching the two women who were working. He can be seen pulling a plastic bag out of his jacket and trying to give it to a worker to fill.

"I saw the gun, and I was like 'Really? I don't have time for this,'"one of the clerks who was working that night told ABC7 News.

That worker, who identified herself as 'Amy,' told the news station she wasn't willing to hand the man any money and thought the weapon was fake.

When he seemingly grabs her by the arm in an attempt to make her cooperate, the other worker strikes back with the nearest 'weapon' on hand– adult toys, the surveillance video shows.

"They come in handy, I'm telling you," 'Amy' told ABC7.

"They do got some weight on them if they are hit hard enough," the woman who threw the objects said.

The man then took off, fleeing the location with nothing to show for his efforts other than a bruised ego– and perhaps some actual bruises from the 'toys.'
