Unidentified Body Discovered In Burning Car

SANTA ANA, CA — Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene of a car on fire in a residential Santa Ana neighborhood, early Friday morning. Inside, they discovered a body of a man, authorities said.

A man of unknown age was found inside the car by responding firefighters, OCFA Capt. Steve Concialdi said. The burning car was found on the 900 block of South Hickory Street about 7:20 a.m. according to Concialdi. It is not yet known how the fire began, or how the man perished.

Santa Ana police were conducting an investigation.
