Each September, art lovers and collectors from around the Bay Area flock to one of Benicia’s most exciting and entertaining fundraising events: Arts Benicia’s Art Auction & Gala. This year’s Great Gatsby-themed auction will be held in Benicia’s historic Clock Tower on September 20 and will include live music, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, Michael Van Auken’s outrageous and popular photo corner, and an exciting live art auction followed by dancing.

The Art Auction is Arts Benicia’s most important fundraiser of the year. The revenue it generates is crucial to the ongoing support of all our programs. Arts Benicia’s exhibitions, art classes, children’s programs, and special events all contribute to making Benicia and her neighboring communities a more cultured, livable place.
