Car Fire Burns Part of Vallejo House

Firefighters extinguished a car fire that burned part of a house in Vallejo on Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the vicinity of Gateway Drive and Sage Street around 10:30 a.m.

Personnel on scene called for a full first-alarm response after observing that the fire had extended into the home, firefighters said.

The blaze was under control by 11:45 a.m., but the cause of the blaze remained under investigation as of Sunday morning.
