Was There a “Giant” Flu Outbreak at Benicia High School?

It is unclear why 16 percent of Benicia High School students were absent from school on Halloween though some in the community are speculating it could be a Giant flu outbreak.

According to principal Damon Wright, 263 high school students were absent today, October 31, 2012.  The previous day 60 students were absent.  “You could definitely tell the difference,” said Wright.

Did you have a high school student who didn’t make it to school on Halloween?
