Berkeley's main public library was shut down by a fire on Saturday but is expected to reopen Monday.
The fire took place in one of the Central Library's public bathrooms on Saturday, library officials said on the Berkeley Public Library Facebook page. The cause of the fire is unknown, but there were no injuries.
The library remained closed Sunday to clean up water left by the
fire sprinkler system, and is expected to reopen Monday.
