Oakland, CA, Novermeber 25, 2013 – As our veterans return to their families, many of them will not have a place to call home. In Alameda County alone, a recent census counted almost 500 homeless veterans on any given night. This doesn't include those persons and families as risk of loosing their housing over the coming holiday season!

The Coalition consists of Abode Services, Operation Dignity, LifeLong Medical Care, and Building Futures with Women and Children,
all non-profit organizations dedicated to serving homeless and at-risk populations in the county. We are here to help them find safe and stable housing.

We work together to help homeless veteran families and those at risk of homelessness, providing rental and deposit assistance, case management, primary and mental health care, and other support services.
