Three small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale in and around Santa Cruz County over the last week, with the largest measured at 2.5 between Watsonville and Gilroy.
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Monday afternoon, 45 people reported feeling the 2.5, 41 of which were in Gilroy on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
