
Britta Wilson, a former San Diego Zoo animal trainer and life-long resident of North County San Diego recently
graduated from Karen Pryor Academy of Animal Training & Behavior which is committed to humane and force-free training techniques for pet owners and has joined
an elite group of animal trainers as a Certified Training Partner.
Ms Wilson has worked in the animal field over
nineteen years. In addition to working at the San Diego Zoo, she also worked as an educator/guide at the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, formerly known as the Wild Animal Park, as an adoption counselor for San Diego Humane Society and SPCA, and as an intern and keeper at
the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park. She graduated with honors from California State University, Long Beach with a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a minor in Biology and an emphasis in Animal Behavior.
