San Diego County gas prices have gone up 26 consecutive days.

Gas Prices Continue to Increase

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County increased three-tenths of a cent Saturday, the smallest increase during a 26-day streak of rising prices.

The average price of $4.292 is 6.5 cents more than one week ago, 58.3 cents higher than one month ago and 11.3 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has risen 56.5 cents during the streak of increases, the longest since a 37-day streak from Jan. 26-March 2, 2012.
