Tree Removal, Digital Billboards on Neighborhood Council Agenda

The Westwood Neighborhood Council will discuss digital billboards on the Westside and proposed tree removal in the Village at its regular monthly meeting Wednesday.

The board meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd.

A proposal to remove 16 Indian laurel fig trees, one red flowering gum tree and one magnolia tree in the Village for the purpose of sidewalk replacement is currently before the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works.

Council members will consider supporting the tree removal during Wednesday's meeting.
