Car Fire Spreads to Artesia Home
A fire rips through an Artesia home after spreading from a vehicle to the garage.
A single-family residence in Artesia was damaged by fire, authorities said today.
The fire in the 11500 block of 180th Street was reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Kyle Sandford. It spread from a vehicle to the garage and then to the residence, a news videographer reported from the scene.
Around 30 firefighters had the blaze knocked down in 24 minutes, Sandford said.
