CONCORD, CA -- A firefighter suffered minor injuries as fire crews doused a suspicious blaze early the morning of Dec. 21 in a vacant Concord home, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District spokesman.
A neighbor reported the fire at about 3:30 a.m., and firefighters had it under control about a half-hour later, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.
The one-alarm fire was in a single-family home in the 2100 block of Fremont Street. The cause is under investigation, according to Marshall.
