Then head to Concord's own  Alpine Pastry & Cakes, one of the last old-fashioned pastry shops, for hot cross buns and Good Friday Easter bread! 

At Alpine, they proudly continue an almost 40-year tradition creating dazzling Easter treats, including: 

  • Egg cakes - Chocolate Cake, fudge filled & Truffle cream iced -orWhite Cake with raspberry filling & Butter cream icing or - Princess egg; white with Bavarian cream & Raspberry, Marzipan icing
  • Hot Cross Buns - Sweet yeast dough with candied fruit and lemon or custard cross
  • Easter bread - Baked on Good Friday only; Sweet egg bread with a hard boiled egg in center
  • Lemon Cake - white cake with lemon filling and coconut on side
  • Bunny Cupcakes ~ Easter cookies
