It may rain this weekend, but that doesn't mean you can't get out of the house and find some fun things to do in the neighborhood. 

Here is a roundup of agenda items coming your way this morning. Take a look at what is happening in the area this Friday through Sunday.

1. Giant Egg Hunt

Where/When: ; Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m.
Why Go: There will be an egg hunt tomorrow at Veterans Park for children in these age groups: those who are walking and up to 2 years old, 3 to 5-year-old children, and those 6 to 8-years-old. Stop by to participate in other family activities that are scheduled to take place including, arts and crafts and games. No reservation is required, but bring your own basket or bag to hold your eggs.
Price: Free.

2. Opera Performance

Where/When: ; Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, 8 p.m.
Why Go: It is opening night tonight of the opera, "The Woman in the Wall," which is inspired by 14th century tradition of "The Anchoress." It is being presented by Overtone Industries. Performances are also scheduled for March 30 and 31.
Price: $25 to $50.

3. Guitarathon

Where/When: ; Saturday, March 24, 4 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy some classical guitar music featuring guitarists and composers, Jordan Charnofsky, Buzz Gravelle, Yalil Guerra, David Grimes, Eric Pham, Peter Yates and composers Deon Nielsen Price, Daniel Kessner and Adrienne Albert. Those who are scheduled to perform include, Nancy Roth on the violin, Douglas Masek on the saxophone, Ralph Williams on the clarinet, and mezzo soprano Alexandra Grabarchuk.
Price: Free.

 4. Edible Book Festival

Where/When: Veterans Park; Saturday, March 24, 1 p.m.
Why Go: There will be an Edible Book Festival tomorrow at the . Make a book for the contest, or stop by to admire, taste, and judge the entries. There will even be an opportunity to create your own book on site.
Price: Free.

5. Theatre Performance

Where/When: ; Friday, March 23, 8 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 25, 1 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy a performance of "American Night: The Ballad of Juan Jose." Performances are scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday this weekend and next week through April 1.
Price: Tickets start at $20.
