Santorum Stops in Alamo Thursday for Fundraiser
Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum makes a stop in Alamo for a fundraiser at the private estate of Ubokia.com CEO Mark Pine.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum is coming to town.
On Thursday at 4 p.m., he'll be in Fairfield for a "Rally for Rick" campaign stop at the Jelly Belly Candy Company, located at One Jelly Belly Lane.
After the jellybean rally he'll be heading to Alamo for a fundraiser. According to Mercury News it will be held at the private residence of Ubokia.com CEO Mark Pine and his wife, Becky.

The Golden State Tea Party website says tickets for the fundraiser start at $2,500 for a private reception with the nominee. For $500 you get a photo with Santorum, and the general dessert reception is $125 per person or $250 per couple.
The private reception is expected to start at 6:45 p.m.

The event will also be hosted by:
- Congressman Bill Baker and his wife Joanne
- Rich and Mary Jo Bedayn
- Mike and Dr. Bridget Melson, founder of the Golden Gate Tea Party

Santorum recently won Louisiana's primary but still trails Mitt Romney by nearly 300 delegates. The GOP candidate needs to win 1,144 delegates to win the GOP nomination. Currently Romney is leading with 568, followed by Santorum with 273. Newt Gingrich is a distant third with 135 and Ron Paul rounds out the candidates with 50 delegates.
