
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A vegetation fire in Solano County has burned more than 2500 acres and is about 60 percent contained this afternoon. The fire was ignited by a commercial trailer that caught fire on state Highway 12 near Nurse Slough, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.
The Nurse Fire, which started about noon, has traffic backed up into Suisun City, CHP officials said. No evacuations orders in place or structures threatened at this time.
