Car Fire Slows Traffic On I-680 In Dublin

Fire crews blocked off the right two lanes, KCBS reports.

DUBLIN, CA — A car fire is slowing traffic on northbound I-680 just south of the intersection with I-580 at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Battalion Chief Kurtis Dickey confirmed to Patch.

The owner of the vehicle was not injured.

The PulsePoint app has also confirmed that the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 2:39 p.m. KCBS reported that fire crews blocked the two right lanes of the freeway near Dublin.

On Wednesday morning, CHP confirmed that one motorcycle rider died in a crash with a truck on I-580 near the Dublin-Pleasanton BART station, closing two lanes of the freeway.
