Purple Leaf Flowering Plums
Some of the most beautiful trees in our area right now are Purple Leaf Flowering Plum trees.
FloweringPlums are one of the first trees to bloom, usually in late winter. Some have
white flowers but most have pink to dark rose colored flowers and they're all
beautiful at this time of year. Most have dark purple leaves that make the tree
a nice 'show piece' in your yard. Some varieties will grow to only 6-10 feet
tall and others will reach 30 feet at maturity. They all love a full-sun
location and will look great in your yard.
