The Solano County coroner’s office has identified a pedestrian who was killed by a vehicle at Interstate Highway 80 and state Highway 113 in Dixon on Saturday night as Larry Vidaurry, 40, of Elk Grove.
Vidaurry was one of three males who were riding in a Toyota Tundra that was towing a boat trailer on eastbound Highway 80 around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The Toyota driver pulled over in a curved portion on the right shoulder of Highway 80 near southbound Highway 113 because of a flat tire on the boat trailer, according to the CHP.

Two of the males in the Toyota ran across the Highway 113 transition road and stood on the south side of the steel guardrail for safety as the driver unhooked the trailer and went to look for a tire, CHP officials said. When the driver returned, both males ran across the two-lane transition road to the shoulder of Highway 80.
The first male made it safely but Vidaurry was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 27-year-old Sacramento man, according to the CHP.
Vidaurry died at the scene at 11:36 p.m.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision, which partially closed the transition road for an hour, CHP officials said.
