Notably, a crash between a semi truck and a van prompted a Sig Alert in Los Angeles.

In Riverside County, a car went over the side of the road and one person died. In a separate incident, a big rig caught fire and prompted a Sig Alert.

As of 12:50 a.m., there's a Sig Alert on I-605 North near Rose Hills Rd after a collision between a semi truck and a van. The semi truck fell on its side with the other vehicle underneath, according to California Highway Patrol. The Sig Alert was still in place as of 5:06 a.m.
