Bus Crash Near Disneyland; Driver Killed, Passengers Injured
The driver in a bus crash near Disneyland succumbed to his injuries, Anaheim Fire Dept. says.

ANAHEIM, CA — A collision between a bus and a car in Anaheim Tuesday left the car's driver suffering life-threatening injuries according to officials.
"The crash happened just after 11 a.m. on Harbor Boulevard just north of Ball Road," Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.
A Toyota Avalon collided with an OCTA bus, according to Wyatt. The driver of a car that collided with a bus Tuesday in Anaheim was killed, and 17 bus passengers sustained minor injuries, police reported.

All lanes of Harbor were closed from Ball Road and a SigAlert was issued, Wyatt said.
Witnesses told police the man, who was behind the wheel of a Toyota Avalon, veered from the southbound lanes of Harbor over into oncoming traffic and slammed into the bus, Wyatt said.

Investigators suspect the driver, who was about 60, was having "some sort of medical emergency" that caused him to swerve into the opposite lanes of traffic, Wyatt said.
Of the 17 passengers on the Orange County Transportation Authority bus who sustained minor injuries, 14 were taken to area hospitals, Wyatt said.
Northbound lanes of Harbor were closed from Ball Road and a SigAlert was issued according to Wyatt.
