Police Blotter: Stolen Car Crashes at Gilroy High School

Wednesday

8:53 p.m. Richard Molina, 30, was contacted by police while exiting his car on Monterey Street. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest, and be in possession of switchblade, meth and meth pipe.

9:26 a.m. A man grabbed his girlfriend by the hair during an argument on First Street, and pushed her in the car against her will. The man crashed the car, and his girlfriend was able to escape.

Tuesday

8:15 p.m. An unknown suspect was found trying to break into the Braccos tow yard. When confronted by the victim, he brandished a screwdriver in a threatening manner by taking a posturing stance. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

6 p.m. A vehicle was stolen from a residence on Mockingbird Lane. The vehicle was later recovered in San Jose.

5 p.m. Two juveniles entered a residence through an unlocked sliding door. Once inside, the arrestees took a vehicle from the garage. Later in the night, the arrestees were involved in a non-injury accident at Gilroy High School, where it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen. The arrestees were cited and released to their parents.

5 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) broke a passenger window and stole tools from inside the locked vehicle.

3 p.m. A vehicle was stolen on Leavesley Road.
