Glendora Motorcyclist Dies in Pomona Crash

A 48-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a sedan in Pomona, police said today.
  
The accident occurred in the 300 block of East Foothill Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, said Pomona police Corporal J.T. Garcia.
  
"L.A. County Fire paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries,'' Garcia said. The motorcyclist was identified as James Fredrick Holliday III, 48, of Glendora.
  
"The driver of the sedan was not injured and remained at the scene. The driver is cooperating with investigators,'' the corporal said.
  
The investigation is continuing.
