The driver of the truck, which ended up on its side and spilled asphalt into northbound lanes on Sunflower, was uninjured and cooperated with investigators, Williams said.
Intoxication was not suspected on either driver's part, according to Williams.
The intersection and streets leading to it were closed as police investigated the crash and crews cleaned up the asphalt and removed the wreckage.
