Police Blotter: Battery, Thefts and a Reported Vehicle Arson

The following information was provided the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 10. Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Sgt. Scott Strong on duty.

  • 7:38 a.m. - A graffiti report was made in the 800 block of East Route 66.
  • 11 a.m. - Battery was reported at the 20th Century Motor Lodge, 1300 block of East Route 66. A woman reported she was hit in the face by a male suspect. Officers arrested Scott Nolden, 36, on suspicion of domestic battery. Nolden was released for a court appearance.
  • 2:34 p.m. - A vandalism report was investigated at a business in the 1100 block of East Route 66.
  • 5:57 p.m. - A theft report was filed at Walmart, 1950 East Auto Centre Drive.


Tuesday, Sept. 11. Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.

  • 9:56 a.m. - A battery report was reported at Glendora High School, 1600 East Foothill Blvd.
  • 10 a.m. - Officers investigated a reported theft at Walmart. Tires were reportedly stolen.
  • 4:36 p.m. - Police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle in the 600 block of West Gaillard Street and arrested the driver on an outstanding warrant. The driver was issued a citation and released.
  • 6:13 p.m. - A disturbance was reported near Gladstone Street and Shellman Avenue. Arrested was Nicholas Jacobs, 19, on suspicion of Vandalism and false imprisonment. Jacobs was issued a citation and released.


Wednesday, Sept. 12. Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.

  • 8:41 a.m. - A pedestrian check was conducted in the 400 block of West Foothill Blvd. Arrested was Devin Fulmer, 46, on an outstanding warrant. Fulmer issued a citation and released.
  • 11:09 a.m. - A battery was reported at Glendora High School, 1600 East Foothill Blvd. A student was arrested in connection to the incident.
  • 12:41 p.m. - A theft was reported in the 100 block of East Saga Street. Gardening tools were reportedly taken from the residence.
  • 6:18 p.m. - A fraud report was investigated in the 100 block of North Ranger Drive.


Thursday, Sept. 13. Sgt. Matt Egan and Sgt. Matt Williams on duty.

  • 7 a.m. - A theft report was investigated in the 800 block of West Route 66.
  • 10:34 a.m. - A burglary was reported in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • 11:16 a.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported at Citrus College, 1000 West Foothill Blvd.
  • 8:06 p.m. - A theft in progress was reported at Walmart. Arrested was Josanna Saldivar, 28, on suspicion of burglary. Saldivar posted bond.
  • 9:33 p.m. - A vehicle was vandalized at Citrus College.


Friday, Sept. 14. Sgt. Matt Egan and Sgt. Matt Williams on duty.

  • 1:58 a.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported at 24-Hour Fitness, 1357 South Lone Hill Avenue. A window was smashed to the car, police said.
  • 9:12 a.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported in the 900 block of South Dodsworth Avenue. The door lock was punched and a third row seat was taken, Williams said.
  • 10:18 a.m. - A commercial burglary was reported in the 1700 block of South Grand Avenue. Overnight, access was gained to the rear of the business and 11 pallets of cardboard were taken, as well as four radiators.
  • 1:56 p.m. - A pedestrian check was conducted on South Elwood Avenue at Route 66. Arrested was a 15-year-old teen on suspicion of vandalism.
  • 7:23 p.m. - A theft was reported in the 1000 block of East Bennett Avenue.


Saturday, Sept. 15. Sgt. Matt Egan and Sgt. Matt Williams on duty.

  • 2:07 a.m. - An arson in progress was reported on Sunflower Avenue near the 210 freeway.
  • 3:18 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of west Route 66. Arianna Jacquez, 21, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Jacquez was cited and released.
  • 6:37 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 200 block of South Forestdale Avenue. Arrested was Darian Lopez, 27, on suspicion of trespassing. Lopez was cited and released.
  • 12:36 p.m. - A non-injury collision was reported at Route 66 and Lorraine Avenue. Police arrested Valentine Holguin, 68, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Holguin was issued a citation and released.
  • 3:36 p.m. - A municipal code violation was reported at Ralphs, 655 South Grand Avenue. Arrested was known transient Charles Addy, 56, on suspicion of trespassing and on several outstanding warrants. Addy was eventually transferred to the Inmate Reception Center in los Angeles.


Sunday, Sept. 16. Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.

  • 3:36 a.m. - A non-injury traffic collision was reported on South Lone Hill Avenue near the 210 freeway. Arrested was Ethan Ambrose, 27, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Ambrose was cited and released.
  • 10:34 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on South Grand Avenue at Gladstone Street. Arrested was Joshua Dozmati, 27, on suspicion of pessessing drug paraphernalia. Dozmati was cited and released.
  • 10:58 a.m. - A theft report was investigated at Sunflower Alternative Schools, 1505 South Sunflower.
  • 1:09 p.m. - Police conducted a pedestrian check on a flower vendor on South Grand Avenue near the 210 freeway. Arrested was Sophia Martinez, 28, on suspicion of providing a false ID to officers and vending on, or near freeways. Martinez was also arrested on an immigration warrant. She was held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
  • 3:03 p.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported in the 500 block of East Lemon Avenue.
