Woman's Body Found Near Glendora Train Tracks
A woman's body was reportedly discovered near the railroad tracks near South Lone Hill and Auto Cenre Drive this morning. Homicide

GLENDORA, CA—A woman was found dead today by metrolink workers in Glendora near the railroad tracks. Detectives were sent to South Lone Hill Avenue and Auto Centre Drive shortly after 10 a.m., according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The cause of her death and her name were not immediately released.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting the Glendora police in the investigation.

"A body was found next to the tracks, looked like a female, white, laying by the tracks,"Los Angeles County Sherrif's Lt. John Corina stated in interview.

It appeared she was well known to the local police, with medical or mental issues, Corina said.
The cause of death "could be natural, dehydration, or medical issues," he said. "She may have just fell down on the tracks in the heat."
In the abundance of caution, we're going to handle this like a homicide according to Corina.
"She is not homeless, and has a house not far from here, lives with her father and brother," Corina said. "We are in the process of talking with them to see what kind of issues she had. Local law enforcement officials are familiar with her."
The Glendora Police Department Los Angeles County Sheriff's Investigators are working together on this case.
