The corner of Main Street and Miramontes will continue to sparkle with the grand opening of Goldworks.

Gemologist, second generation jeweler, and lifetime Half Moon Bay resident Josh Warshauer will follow in his parent's footsteps by taking ownership of Half Moon Bay's beloved jewelry store Main Street Goldworks, which has occupied 542 Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay for more than 25 years.

When his parents  Jay and Patti Warshauer announced their retirement last year there was an opportunity for Josh, a certified jeweler and graduate gemologist, to continue the family legacy of fine custom jewelry design and artistry, combing old world craftsmanship and the latest technologies.

The grand opening of Goldworks in the same Main Street location is slated for Saturday, Feb. 1, and the public is invited to attend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with music, art, food (Richard Poncini's paellas and It's Italia pizza) and of course, beautiful jewelry.

All of the original designs of the Warshauer family will be featured, including brother Jesse Warshauer’s award winning Eshai Designs. Many other new and estate collections will also be available in a wide range from timeless platinum, diamond, and fine gemstone jewelry to sterling silver for any occasion. The store will continue to offer on site custom, repair, appraisal and buying services.
