Massive Swells Following El Nino Storm at Half Moon Bay's Mavericks Break

HALF MOON BAY, CA- Waves as high as 40 feet? That’s what’s been reported in Half Moon Bay this week, on the area’s famed surfing location: Mavericks.

The swells were a calling for many surfers who took to the water on Thursday to ride the waves.

There is one report of a surfer being injured, according to KPIX. Watch the above video report for more.
