Man's Body Found on Bus Ramp in Hollywood

A man’s body was found Thursday on a bus ramp leading to the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in the Hollywood area, authorities said.

The body of the man, who may have been homeless, was discovered about 6:25 a.m. on the roadway near Western Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities withheld the name of the man, who was in his 50s, pending family notification. The cause of death was not immediately determined.

The bus ramp was closed while an investigation was conducted.
