New Habit Burger Donates Nearly $6,000 to LCF Organizations

The Habit Burger opened in the La Canada Flintridge Town Center this month and gave back nearly $6,000 to the community during the month of giving.

According to Lee Healy, Marketing Communication manager for Habit Restaurants, LLC, residents received their first sneak peek of the new restaurant on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Monday, Dec. 3.

Even though it rained on and off, locals gathered at the Habit Burger Grill on Dec. 2 for lunch. Healy reported that at the end of the day, $2,374.15 was raised and given to the La Canada Flintridge Education Foundation.

Later that night, the Habit served a pre-opening dinner to aid the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge. Friends of the Community Center enjoyed hundreds of meals. The Habit gave 100% of the $2,110.95 proceeds raised that night, back to the organization.

The following day, fans of The Crescenta-Canada YMCA, gathered for a sneak peek lunch. Recently, they received a check for $1,509.15.

The La Canada Flintridge Habit Burger Grill is one of 67 other restaurant locations opened by the Irvine-based company.
