Fire Crews Contain Wildomar Barn Blaze

Fire tore through a barn on a Wildomar property today, damaging the structure and threatening nearby buildings before it was knocked down.

The non-injury blaze was reported about 3:30 p.m. in the 33500 block of Orange Street, near Blondon Court, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Seven engine crews, numbering two-dozen fire personnel, stopped the flames from spreading beyond the single-story structure, achieving full containment shortly after 4 p.m., a fire department spokeswoman said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
