Girl, 16, Busted With Psilocybin, Cocaine in Lake Elsinore: Police

LAKE ELSINORE, CA- A Murrieta narcotics investigation landed in the city of Lake Elsinore this week, and ultimately ended with the arrest of a teenage girl, police report.

According to Murrieta Police Sgt. Mark Reid, detectives served a search warrant in the 34000 block of Otay Way in Lake Elsinore on Thursday, around noon.

"During the warrant service, detectives contacted the juvenile suspect and recovered psilocybin and cocaine from the location in question," he said. "The juvenile was arrested and booked for psilocybin sales and possession of cocaine."

Reid tells Patch the girl is just 16.
