Paris Hilton Stalker Arrested In Wildomar

He remains in custody in lieu of $10,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 27, according to the jail records.

The man arrested on suspicion of stalking Paris Hilton was arrested again last week after he allegedly crashed a cargo van in Wildomar, The Press-Enterprise is reporting.

According to jail records, James Rainford, 38, was arrested Dec. 5 on suspicion of hit and run with property damage, DUI, driving on a suspended license, vandalism, and a failure to appear.

He remains in custody in lieu of $10,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 27, according to the jail records.

The Press-Enterprise reported the crash took place in the 21600 block of Palomar Street. Jail records show Rainford was arrested just after 2 a.m. on Dec. 5.

Rainford, a Wildomar resident, has made headlines in the past. He was released from jail in May 2011 after serving time for misdemeanor battery. Authorities say he had tried to grab Hilton's then-boyfriend outside a courthouse earlier that year.
