Sheriff's Blotter: A Drunk in Plaid Boxers; Karaoke Out of Control

9:34 p.m. Monday. A grand theft was reported in the 25000 block of Shaver Lake Circle. The caller said more than $1,000 in jewelry was taken from the home that morning. 

8:57 p.m. Monday. Deputies arrested a 19-year-old man in the 25100 block of Steinway Circle. The report said the man was allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl. The man was taken into custody, with bail set at $100,000. 

3:05 p.m. Monday. A burglary in progress was reported in the 21400 block of Coralita. According to the report, the caller's son had returned home and found the house burglarized. A brick had been thrown through a window, and deputies responded to investigate and set up a perimeter. 

2:23 a.m. Monday. A disturbance was reported in the 23800 block of Mercury Road. Two women reportedly got into a fight at the Countryrock Cafe. One of the women was cuffed by a security guard after reportedly being uncooperative. 

11:32 p.m. Sunday. A disturbance was reported near the Muirlands Boulevard and Ridge Route intersection. The caller was disturbed by a loud and out-of-control party at Avila's Mexican restaurant. 

4:51 p.m. Sunday. A caller reported a reckless driver near the Lake Forest Drive and Rockfield Boulevard intersection. The report said a driver in a white BMW appeared to be out of control as she drove over the Interstate 5 overpass. 

2:31 p.m. Sunday. A caller reported a firearm discharge in the 24800 block of Stem Avenue. 

2:10 a.m. Sunday. Deputies were called to investigate a person down in the 20700 block of Lake Forest Drive. The report stated that a drunken man in his early 20s was seen lying on the sidewalk in plaid boxers. There was no report of an arrest. 

12:52 a.m. Sunday. A disturbance was reported in the 25200 block of Romera Place. The caller was disturbed by a loud and out-of-control karaoke party nearby. 

9:46 p.m. Saturday. Deputies arrested a 39-year-old man near the Rue De Valore and Evase Avenue intersection. According to the report, the man had a warrant out for his arrest and had pushed a woman out of a moving vehicle. He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $51,000.

9:35 p.m. Saturday. A caller reported vandalism in the 23200 block of Orange Avenue. The report said several minors were seen drinking alcohol and breaking a street light near the caller's property. 

2:10 p.m. Saturday. Deputies arrested a 43-year-old man near the Landsview and Arrowwood street intersection. According to the report, the man had a warrant out for his arrest and was driving under the influence of alcohol and without a valid driver's license. He was taken into custody.
