A sinkhole has closed a major Orange County roadway on Tuesday, with no early indication as to fix.

IRVINE, CA — Tuesday morning drivers got more than they bargained for when a water main ruptured and created a large sinkhole on a major Orange County thoroughfare.
Just before 6 a.m. the 21000 block of Michelson Road was flooded, forcing work crews to close northbound Jamboree Road between Michelson Road and the 405 Freeway, officials said.
Westbound Michelson Drive, between Loop and Jamboree Roads were closed as well, and remained closed as of 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
