Detectives Seek Tips To ID Gunmen Who Robbed Spring Valley 7-Eleven
Money was stolen from the register and a customer was robbed of a wristwatch.
Detectives at the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station say two armed suspects who wore gloves and concealed their faces held up a 7-Eleven store on the 900 block of Grand Avenue about 10 p.m. Dec. 26. The robbers pointed their weapons at the store's clerk and customers, and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and a watch from a shopper. No one was hurt.
A vehicle matching the description of the one used to flee the scene was found abandoned a short time later. The stolen Lincoln Navigator was recovered by San Diego Police in an alley off Gamma Street in the city's Southcrest neighborhood.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering an award of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
