Pair Headed to Court for Robbery Spree Charges Included Shooting in La Mesa
The trial is scheduled Wednesday for Alvaro Regalado and Juan Arriero, who are accused in a spree of robberies, including one in La Mesa in which a 16-year-old Arizona boy was shot in the head.

The two San Diego men pleaded not guilty in July 2011 to the crimes involving Zach Lamb of Paradise Valley, AZ, who suffered a scalp wound near the Chico Club on El Cajon Boulevard.

Deputy District Attorney Christine Israel said the defendants went on a robbery spree with a shotgun and a handgun, holding up seven people in five separate robberies, including the robbery and shooting of the teen in La Mesa on June 27, 2011.
