Crews Contain 2-Alarm House, Car Fire In Orinda
Crews managed to contain a two-alarm structure fire in Orinda early Sunday, even after a car caught fire and crashed into a fire engine.
ORINDA, CA — Crews managed to contain a two-alarm structure fire in Orinda early Sunday morning, even after a burning car rolled down the home's driveway and hit a fire engine, the Moraga-Orinda Fire District said.
Crews responded early Sunday to the fully involved fire off Arroyo Drive, which grew to a second alarm before it was contained, officials said.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to officials.
